About

Math Notes is a browser-based inline calculator, inspired by Numi and Soulver. Its source is open — see the GitHub repository.

Calculations run on mathjs, an extensible math library for JavaScript. Currency conversion rates come from the European Central Bank via Frankfurter.

Privacy#

Your sheets stay on your device. They are saved in your browser's storage and are never sent to a server. Share links carry the sheet in the URL fragment, which browsers do not transmit with the request. See Files, sharing & data.

Interface languages#

The interface, the Examples and these documentation pages are available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The calculator syntax is always English. Switch the app's language in Settings → Language.

Credits#

Math Notes is open source. The documentation is generated from Markdown at build time and published as static pages alongside the app.
